Journey to the Heart Guided by the Universe Story and Celtic Spirituality
Consider treating yourself to a short while away from routine. You are invited to ponder going to a beautiful place in Cape Breton in autumn and to a beautiful place within. Consider exploring your sacred journey and inner life with the help of two spiritual facilitators and the company of other soul searching people.
Monica Brown is an Australian retreat and conference facilitator, composer, singer and educator with over thirty years of experience with religious education and spiritual life exploration. She founded Emmaus Productions in Sydney, Australia www.emmausproductions.com as part of her work with diverse groups in Europe and North America as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Hilary Musgrave lives in Tramore, Ireland. She is a co-worker with Monica. She is a facilitator of spiritual searching, an educator and retreat leader. Hilary aptly works with sacred clowning, story and ritual to help people explore their spiritual life and connect to their body and soul. Her international experience along with Monica draws on the best of the rich Celtic Spiritual tradition.
The registration fee is $30.00.

- The $ 30.00 fee includes Friday evening and Saturday. The fee is payable at the door.
- Turn off the Trans Canada at Little bras D'Or near the bridge. Go toward St Joseph Church. The hall is behind the church on 24 Villa Drive.
On Wednesday, December 12th the Spiritual Life Centre sponsored a presentation by Jeff Ward manager of the Heritage Park at Membertou, Sydney, NS. It was our first public event since forming the Centre in July 2018. The presentation topic was:
“Learning about Mi`kmaq Spiritual Teachings in a Good Way”
There were about 65 people who gathered at the Membertou Heritage Park to learn about the first spiritual path practiced in this land. Jeff Ward was both passionate and informative in sharing Mi`kmaq traditions, perspective on life and nature. He shared personal stories and introduced traditional sacred items such as the drum. The participants were grateful for this opportunity and stayed for more than an hour after the presentation asking questions of Jeff Ward. Jeff is a sun dancer and experienced public educator who travels nationally and beyond to speak about Mi`kmaq spiritual teachings and other topics concerning Mi`kmaq life.
